on first glance, jack howl is the cold and silent type. he's the epitome of the "lone wolf". however, this is simply because he believes that he should be the one to solve his own problems and not rely on others. when someone earns his respect, jack will do whatever he can to help that person if they need it. his friendship is tough to gain but he is the kind of person who will want that respect returned in kind. he has a strong sense of justice that is striking compared to the rest of the students at night raven college.
